About the role
Stonebridge HR Solutions is hiring on behalf of a reputable FMCG company based in Centurion. This Accountant role is perfect for an ambitious, qualified professional who wants to move beyond basic processing and into analysis, forecasting and business partnering.
You will own group reporting, treasury, customer profitability and group consolidations, and manage the Accounts Receivable team. The role creates space for senior finance staff to focus on higher-level work while you handle critical day to day and strategic finance functions.
The group is dynamic, so your duties may change over time. You need to be comfortable moving between finance functions as business needs shift.
Key areas you will work on include preparing monthly and periodic group reporting packs, cash flow forecasting across the group, customer profitability analysis, and consolidating local and foreign operations including the UK.

Requirements
- Minimum B.Com degree or equivalent
- Relevant accounting experience including reporting and reconciliations
- Strong Excel and systems ability
- SAIPA or CIMA qualified is advantageous
- Exposure to group consolidations and multi entity or multi currency reporting
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Self starter who takes ownership and works with minimal supervision
- Positive and can do attitude, comfortable in a changing environment
- Accurate and deadline driven, able to work across teams
- Willingness to move between finance functions as business needs change
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly and periodic group reporting packs
- Meet reporting deadlines and ensure accuracy with supporting reconciliations
- Provide variance analysis and commentary for management review
- Handle cash planning and cash flow forecasting across the group
- Oversee the treasury and cash planning resource reporting into this role
- Prepare and maintain customer profitability analysis
- Identify and report on margin and profitability trends by customer
- Prepare group consolidations including intercompany elimination and reconciliation
- Support consolidation of foreign operations including the UK
- Manage the Accounts Receivable team
- Provide day to day processing support as required, including to the UK operation
- Support other finance functions on a needs basis as the business evolves
- Perform other relevant ad hoc functions expected of an accountant
