Success Guide

Applying for a Workshop Foreman role is different from applying for a normal technician job. Employers want to see that you can lead people, not just fix cars. When you send your CV to trade.jobs@tumaini.co.za, make sure it clearly shows any time you supervised or mentored other technicians, even if it was informal. Highlight your Millwright Trade Test and any experience with job cards, diagnostics and quality checks.

In an interview, be ready for practical questions about how you handle a busy workshop, prioritise jobs and deal with a technician who is falling behind. Think of real examples from your past work. Also remember that Tumaini Consulting is a recruitment agency, so keep your CV clean, up to date and easy to read. If you do not hear back within 3 days, follow up politely or keep applying elsewhere.
