RAD Resources is looking for an experienced Warehouse Leader to join their team in Cape Town CBD. This is a permanent, full time role that involves shift work including night shifts and weekends. You will need your own transport, be physically strong enough to load and offload trucks, and be comfortable working without supervision. About the role
As a Warehouse Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations during your shift, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with your team members and communicate with customers to make sure goods are handled and moved correctly.
Key duties include:
- Loading and offloading trucks
- Working shifts including night shifts and weekends
- Using PC systems for email, Word, Excel and reporting (Freightware experience is an advantage)
- Communicating with customers and internal team members
- Working without supervision and taking initiative to solve problems
- Prioritising tasks, working under pressure and managing your time well
Please note: Own transport is required for this role. You must have a clean criminal record. The role is based in Cape Town CBD.
Requirements
- Matric or proven work experience
- Own transport required
- PC experience with email, Word, Excel and reporting
- Freightware experience is an advantage
- Physically strong and able to load and offload trucks
- Able to work shift work including night shifts and weekends
- Good communication skills
- Interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and team members
- Motivated with energy, enthusiasm and passion for the job
- Initiative and problem solving ability
