Success Guide

This Warehouse Lead role is a solid step up if you already have a few years in logistics or supply chain and want to lead a team. The cold storage environment means food safety and health and safety are serious business, so be ready to talk about how you have handled compliance and equipment in past roles.

When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your NQF Level 6 qualification and your 3 to 5 years experience. Highlight any leadership moments, even if you were a senior team member rather than a formal supervisor. Also mention the types of equipment you have worked with and any budgeting or reporting you have done.

Interviews here will likely focus on real scenarios. Think of examples where you improved efficiency, managed a safety issue, or kept a team motivated during a busy shift. Be specific and honest, and show that you understand the pressure of a fast paced warehouse.
