Success Guide
Hi there! If you are looking at this Treasury and Accounts Payable Assistant role, it is a solid chance to get your foot in the door with a Cape Town finance team on a fixed term contract. The pay is R30 000 per month, which is decent for a junior to mid level finance job.
When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows any experience you have with bank reconciliations, processing invoices, or using Excel. Even if your experience is from a short term job or an internship, highlight the specific tasks you did. The employer wants someone who is careful with numbers and can handle a busy environment.
In an interview, be ready to talk about how you spot errors in financial data and how you stay organised when you have several deadlines. They might ask you to describe a time you resolved a supplier query or worked with a accounting system. Be honest about what you know and show that you are eager to learn their systems.
Also, since this is a recruitment agency, your application goes to Acumen Recruitment first. Make sure your contact details are correct and that your CV is up to date. Good luck!
