Success Guide
This is a great entry point into the accounting world, especially if you are a recent graduate in Stellenbosch or nearby. The firm is looking for someone who is confident, works well in a team but can also take initiative. Make sure your CV clearly shows your BCom qualification and any practical accounting or bookkeeping experience you have, even if it was part of your studies. Since the role involves client work and tax submissions, highlight your attention to detail and any exposure to SARS processes or accounting software. Having your own transport is a real plus here because you will likely need to travel to clients. Prepare for a standard interview that may include technical questions about accounting basics and your understanding of the training contract. Be ready to explain why you chose CIMA or SAIPA and how you plan to balance work and studies.
