Success Guide
Your trade test and hands on experience with heavy commercial vehicles are the main things this employer wants to see. When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows the truck brands you have worked on, the types of repairs you have done, and your Code EC or Code 14 licence. Include contactable references from previous workshop supervisors.
In the interview, expect questions about fault finding on extra heavy vehicles, how you handle breakdowns and standby, and how you follow job cards and safety procedures. Be ready to talk about a tricky diagnostic problem you solved and how you kept your work accurate under pressure.
Pongola is in Zululand, so if you are not local, show that you are serious about relocating. A short, neat CV sent to the right email address with the correct reference will get you noticed.
