Success Guide

Before you send your CV off, make sure it shows the practical side of your trade. List the truck brands you have worked on, the types of repairs you handle, and any field service or standby experience you have. The recruiter will want to see a clear post trade track record, so include your trade test date and employer references that can be contacted.

In the subject line of your email, put TRG 2439 so your application lands in the right pile. If you have a Code 14 licence, make that visible near the top of your CV. For an interview, be ready to talk through a real fault finding example and how you follow job card and safety procedures. Newcastle based candidates should highlight their local residency, and if you are relocating, show that you are committed to the move.
