You will also lead incident investigations and Root Cause Failure Analysis, and run predictive and preventive maintenance programmes. Success Guide

If you are an engineering professional with a GCC (Mines and Works) and hands on experience with yellow fleet equipment, this role in Richards Bay could be a strong next step. The position is on a fixed term contract, so it suits someone who is comfortable with project based work in an open cast mining environment.

Start by making sure your CV clearly shows your years of experience with TMM or yellow fleet machinery, your specific equipment experience (CAT, Komatsu, Bell, and similar), and your GCC status. Highlight any reliability engineering work you have done, such as MTBF and MTTR tracking or RCM studies. Before applying, get your GCC certificate and engineering qualification documents ready. A legal appointment under MHSA Regulation 2.13.3.1 is required, so be prepared to discuss your understanding of MHSA and TMM MCOP compliance in an interview. Site based safety knowledge and contractor management experience are also worth emphasising.
