About the role
Sasso Consulting is looking for 5 Threat and Vulnerability Management Specialists to join a team focused on protecting complex enterprise IT environments. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys digging into security weaknesses and helping organisations stay one step ahead of cyber threats.
You will work with a variety of systems including servers, networks, applications, endpoints and cloud platforms. Your daily tasks will involve running vulnerability scans, analysing CVE and CVSS data, and coordinating with IT and security teams to get issues fixed. You will also monitor emerging threats and prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

Important: Candidates must demonstrate practical enterprise vulnerability management experience. General IT support or cybersecurity administration experience alone will not be sufficient.Requirements
- Relevant IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or Information Security diploma or degree
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant cybersecurity or vulnerability management experience
- Proven hands on experience with enterprise vulnerability assessment tools such as Tenable Nessus, Qualys or Rapid7
- Strong knowledge of CVE, CVSS, threat intelligence and vulnerability remediation
- Experience with Windows, Linux, networking and cloud environments (Azure or AWS)
- Understanding of SIEM platforms, security operations and patch management
- Experience with Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7 or Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, GIAC or vendor specific certifications are advantageous
- Must be able to demonstrate practical enterprise vulnerability management experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments across servers, networks, applications, endpoints and cloud environments
- Identify, analyse and prioritise security vulnerabilities based on risk and business impact
- Operate vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable Nessus, Qualys or Rapid7
- Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, exploits and security advisories
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation with IT infrastructure and security teams
- Track patch management and remediation activities
- Analyse CVE and CVSS findings and recommend appropriate security controls
- Prepare vulnerability reports, dashboards and risk assessments
- Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST and CIS security frameworks
