Success Guide
If you are applying for this technical engineering role, your CV should clearly show your solar PV and battery storage project experience, the design software you use and your Wireman's Licence status. The client is looking for someone who is just as comfortable on a roof doing a site assessment as they are drawing up single line diagrams in the office, so mention both sides of your experience.
Since the recruiter is Schlemmer & Associates, keep your application neat and easy to read. Include your ECSA registration or candidate number if you have one, and list any commercial or industrial projects you have worked on. If you have not yet worked on large scale projects, highlight the residential and small commercial work you have done and any commissioning or SSEG experience you have picked up.
Prepare for an interview that may include technical questions about system sizing, mounting structures and wind loading. Know your numbers and be ready to explain how you approach a site inspection from start to finish. Good luck!
