About the role
Capitec is looking for an energetic, self motivated Supply Chain Coordinator III to join their Operations and Admin team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. This role focuses on coordinating and improving last mile distribution and courier operations across business to business and business to client delivery channels.
You will support reliable, cost effective and customer focused delivery execution through courier partner coordination, service level monitoring, track and trace visibility, exception management, reporting and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience coordinating delivery and business objectives in a relevant environment, including monitoring, planning, forecasting, reporting, budgeting and prioritisation
- Experience liaising with senior level stakeholders and external parties such as legal and regulatory entities, vendors and partners
- Proven experience using influence and negotiation to align resources and stakeholders toward objectives
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise, multi task and meet deadlines
- Experience designing and producing quality reports, presentations and material
- Experience in courier, transport and last mile distribution operations including B2B and B2C deliveries, collections, reverse logistics and courier service provider coordination
- Experience managing end to end courier performance including track and trace, proof of delivery, SLA monitoring, delivery exceptions, operational reporting and corrective actions
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Engineering General
- Strong knowledge of functional and technical task management tools, techniques, processes and systems
- Understanding of business operations including budgeting, project management, planning principles, forecasting and scheduling
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
- Foundational information and data analysis knowledge
- Stakeholder engagement and management processes and practices
- Skills in attention to detail, communication, decision making, interpersonal and relationship management, and planning, organising and coordination
- Clear criminal and credit record
Responsibilities
- Coordinate courier partners and service providers across business to business and business to client delivery channels
- Monitor service levels and track and trace visibility to ensure reliable delivery execution
- Manage delivery exceptions and follow up on corrective actions
- Support planning, forecasting, reporting, budgeting and prioritisation within supply chain operations
- Liaise with senior stakeholders and external parties including vendors, partners and regulatory entities
- Design and produce quality reports, presentations and material for operational reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in last mile distribution and courier operations
- Monitor courier performance and support cost effective, customer focused delivery solutions
