MSP Staffing is looking for a Structural Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join a dynamic team in Johannesburg. You will work on a variety of building projects, from retail centres to high rise apartments, using Revit and Tekla. About the role
This role offers you the chance to work on a broad range of building projects, including retail, commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed use developments. You will be involved in the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, working alongside architects, contractors, and other professionals.
Your day to day will include supporting structural project management, conducting site inspections, and coordinating project information to ensure timely delivery. You will also use Revit and Tekla to develop and coordinate structural solutions, and provide technical input during meetings and construction stages.
The client is looking for someone who combines technical capability with strong communication and project coordination skills. This is a permanent, full time position based in Johannesburg.

Requirements
- BSc or BTech degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of structural engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Revit and Tekla
- Practical understanding of building structures and construction processes
- Experience with site inspections
- Good project management and organisational skills
- Confident communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
