About the role
Our client is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team in Illovo, Johannesburg. You will be involved in a wide variety of building projects across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structural engineering input across various building projects.
- Assist with the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical input.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other professionals.
- Support project coordination and management activities.
- Prepare and review technical documentation and structural information.
- Ensure project requirements and engineering standards are met.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within required timeframes.

Requirements
- BSc or BTech degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and Tekla software.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to conduct site inspections.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to liaise confidently with a professional multidisciplinary team.
