About the role
As a Store Manager at Jet in Knysna, you will be responsible for running the store smoothly and making sure it hits its targets. You will lead a team, manage stock, control expenses, and make sure customers always leave happy.
Key duties include:
- Driving turnover to meet and exceed sales targets
- Managing stock losses and keeping shrinkage in line with company standards
- Recruiting, developing, and managing staff, including handling employee relations and performance
- Executing in store merchandising strategies and standards
- Delivering excellent customer service and fulfilling customer demands
Requirements
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- Minimum 3 years retail experience
- At least 1 year of store leadership experience
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Ability to build customer loyalty and manage customer challenges
- Planning and organising skills
- Leadership abilities to direct work and drive engagement
Responsibilities
- Drive turnover to ensure the achievement of targets
- Control expenses
- Manage stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with company standard
- People management, including recruitment, development of staff, employee relations, performance management
- Execute in store merchandising strategy and standards
