About the role
As Store Manager at American Swiss Jewellery in Canal Walk, you will be responsible for driving turnover to meet targets, controlling expenses, and managing stock losses to stay within company standards. You will lead and develop your team through recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. You will also execute in store merchandising strategies and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering on our customer service promise.
This is a part time role requiring 45 hours per week. Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Minimum 3 years retail experience
- Minimum 1 year store leadership experience
- Customer focused with strong selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to plan, organize and direct work
- Leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team
- Understanding of policy and procedures
- Strategic sales planning ability
