Success Guide

This is a big step up role for someone who has spent years in silviculture and is ready to manage a large forestry operation. When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows your FSC experience and the number of years you spent in a managerial silviculture position. The employer wants to see at least 15 years in silvicultural activities, with 5 of those at management level, so highlight those dates clearly.

Also mention your experience with forestry mechanisation and the software they listed, especially Microforest and GIS, as these are specific to the role. If you have managed livestock or worked with fire protection before, bring that out too. This is an on site role in Ugie, so be ready to discuss how you handle working in a rural forestry environment and leading teams and service providers in the field.
