About the role
This role is with an agricultural company that values expertise and is looking for a Silo Manager to oversee grain storage and handling operations at their facility in the Eastern Cape. You will be part of a team that ensures grain quality, safety, and smooth day-to-day silo activities.
As Silo Manager, you will be responsible for managing the intake, storage, and dispatch of grain, maintaining silo equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will supervise staff, keep accurate records, and coordinate with suppliers and customers to keep operations running efficiently.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Silo Manager in the Grain Industry
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Fumigation Certificate
- Grain Grading Certificate
- Relevant tertiary education
- Proficient in MS Office
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid Driver's License and own transport
- Contactable references and payslips required
Responsibilities
- Manage the intake, storage, and dispatch of grain in the silo
- Ensure grain quality is maintained through proper fumigation and grading
- Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of silo equipment
- Supervise silo staff and coordinate daily activities
- Maintain accurate records of stock, operations, and safety checks
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the silo facility
