About the role

Requirements
- Grade 12 is essential.
- Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level is desirable.
- Experience in a customer facing role within a retail or FMCG store environment is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain high accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including actioning clubcard rewards.
- Ensure safe handling of cash at all times.
- Proactively promote the Clicks clubcard and enrol new members to achieve participation targets.
- Make customers aware of promotions to positively affect sales.
- Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, being visible and offering friendly, professional service.
- Execute and maintain merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual merchandise standards.
- Support the Group's vision to be the customer's first choice health and beauty retailer.
- Maintain updated knowledge on products, ranges, promotions and events to provide correct information to customers.
