Overview
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is looking for a Senior Technical Lead and Architect to guide the technical direction of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform. About the role
As the Senior Technical Lead and Architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, you will take ownership of the technical vision and architecture for one of the country's largest D365 F&O implementations. You will work closely with functional consultants, developers, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the platform is stable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
Your day to day work will involve reviewing and designing technical solutions, leading code reviews, guiding integration strategies, troubleshooting complex issues, and making key decisions on customisations, extensions, and upgrades. You will also play a mentoring role for developers and junior technical staff, helping to grow internal capability while keeping the D365 environment healthy and well governed.
Requirements
- Extensive hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) in a technical lead or architect capacity
- Strong understanding of X++ development, extensions, and the D365 F&O technical stack
- Proven experience designing and reviewing technical solutions, integrations, and data migrations within D365 F&O
- Experience working with Azure services, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies
- Ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and manage technical delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Relevant Microsoft certifications will be advantageous
- Experience in a large enterprise or FMCG environment is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the technical architecture for the D365 F&O platform
- Lead technical design sessions and review proposed solutions from internal and partner teams
- Oversee development standards, code quality, and release management
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within D365 F&O and its integrations
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers and junior team members
- Manage relationships with Microsoft and implementation partners on technical matters
- Keep the platform current with Microsoft updates and best practices
