Afrikye is looking for a Senior Sales Analyst to join their Johannesburg team. In this role, you will lead sales pricing structures, manage contracts, and provide commercial analysis to support sales teams. About the role
As a Senior Sales Analyst at Afrikye in Johannesburg, you will play a key role in managing sales pricing structures and contracts. You will work closely with sales and management teams, providing commercial analysis and support to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Your daily tasks will include preparing cost calculations, processing awarded contracts, and maintaining price lists. You will also be responsible for training and guiding junior analysts, conducting market research, and creating sales reports for management.

Requirements
- Matric with Maths and Science
- N6/Diploma/B-Tech in Electrical Engineering or Business Admin (Electrical Engineering advantageous)
- 5-7 years of experience in a Sales Support environment, proposals, or projects
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel
- Knowledge of SAP and Monday.com is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of relevant products and specifications
- Valid driver's license and own transport
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating sales GP, growth rates, discounts, and cost calculations
- Ability to capture and document data from multiple sources
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Occasional travel may be required
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost calculations for products in all contracts and maintain accurate price lists and catalogues
- Process awarded contracts and conduct commercial, technical, and financial reviews of customer proposals
- Communicate with account managers regarding contract changes and initiate renewals timeously
- Prepare contract price adjustments to ensure profitability
- Load contracts onto sales support systems and manage global, local, and framework contracts
- Prepare and update custom price lists for electric motors, variable speed drives, and switchgear
- Produce rebate calculations, provision forecasting, and spend data, and administer the CRM system
- Create standard and customised sales reports for management
- Conduct market trend analyses, competitive analyses, and market research
- Ensure team members execute tasks for contracts, pricing, and reports accurately and on time
