About the role
As a Senior Risk Analytics Solutions Engineer at Standard Bank, you will be the bridge between advanced analytics and the bank's operational environment. You will work inside a cross functional squad that turns the work of data scientists and risk analysts into real, running systems. This means taking credit scorecards and real time fraud models and getting them deployed, monitored, and managed in a way that is robust, automated, and scalable.
You will also build and own the orchestration solutions within AWS that support the bank's Risk Solutions, including SAS Viya and various AWS services that bring risk intelligence to life.

Requirements
- Completed Matric
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant technical role such as DevOps Engineer, MLOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Data Engineer with a focus on automation
- Strong programming proficiency, particularly in Python
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
- Hands on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure
- Experience with containerisation technologies and distributed computing such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Behavioral competencies: adopting practical approaches, articulating information, developing expertise, documenting facts, embracing change
- Technical competencies: big data frameworks and tools, data engineering, data integrity, data quality, IT knowledge, stakeholder management

- Operationalize AI, risk models, and strategies built by data scientists and risk analysts
- Deploy credit scorecards and real time fraud models in a robust, automated, and scalable way
- Monitor and manage analytical solutions once they are live in production
- Build and own orchestration solutions within AWS to support Risk Solutions
- Work with SAS Viya and AWS services to bring risk intelligence to life
- Embed within a cross functional squad and act as the link between advanced analytics and the operational environment
- Manage continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for model deployment
