A global education group is looking for an experienced Senior Programmatic Specialist to take charge of programmatic advertising across its business units and international markets. If you have 5 to 8 years of hands on DSP experience and enjoy shaping campaign strategies in a multi brand, digitally led environment, this permanent role in Johannesburg's Northern Suburbs could be your next big move.
About the role
This role places you at the centre of programmatic advertising for a global education group that develops conscious leaders. You will work across a diverse portfolio of business units and international markets, taking ownership of how the group buys and optimises programmatic media.
Day to day, you will set programmatic strategy, build and manage campaigns on demand side platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk or StackAdapt, and develop audience and data strategies that sharpen targeting. You will run display, video, connected TV, native and audio campaigns, while keeping a close eye on brand safety, viewability and ad fraud. Managing relationships with programmatic partners and measuring incrementality are also part of the mix. You will report on performance across markets in Africa and India.

- 5 to 8 years of experience in programmatic advertising with hands on DSP experience
- Agency or trading desk background
- Experience in African markets is an advantage
- Agency experience and comfort wearing multiple hats are essential
- Experience in higher education or ed tech is an advantage
