Success Guide
This is a senior technical role at one of South Africa's biggest banks, so your application should show real depth rather than a list of tools. Lead with your Linux experience, your RHCE certification and specific examples of Red Hat Satellite and patch management at scale. If you have worked in banking, financial services or another always on environment, say so clearly and explain what you owned.
Capitec asks you to complete a short online assessment before you apply, so set aside time for that and do it on a stable connection. Have your CV, matric certificate and tertiary qualifications ready to upload. In interviews for this kind of role, expect deep technical questions on Linux troubleshooting, automation and AWS workloads, plus scenario based questions about platform health. Be ready to explain decisions you made and how they affected the wider team.
