  • Willingness to learn Dutch

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm concepts and create CAD designs
  • Build prototypes and follow up on testing
  • Work with manufacturers and production teams on DFM and DFA
  • Drive the full technical execution of projects alongside the product manager
  • Coach fellow designers and share expertise
  • Report to the R&D Manager

Permanent contract, single permit visa arranged, visa support for spouse and children, competitive salary package, key strategic role in innovation and quality, stable growing team, freedom to experiment, relocation package with full migration and integration support including housing, bank, registration, schools and social events, personal guidance throughout the journey

Success Guide

This is a great opportunity if you have solid design engineering experience and are open to moving abroad. When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows the products you have worked on, the CAD software you used, and how you took a design from concept to production. The employer is specifically looking for someone who speaks Afrikaans, so mention that upfront. Also note that this is a relocation role, so be ready to talk about your willingness to move to Belgium and how your family will settle in. The visa support is a big plus, so mention if you have a spouse or children who would be coming with you. Tailor your application to show you can hit the ground running on technical projects and work well in a team.
