About the role
As a Seasonal Sales Associate at Jet Attridgeville, you will be the face of the store, helping customers find what they need and making sure they leave happy. You will work as part of a energetic team during the busiest time of the year.
What you will be doing:
- Greeting customers and helping them find the right products
- Processing sales at the till and handling cash and card payments
- Keeping the store neat, organised and well stocked
- Assisting with stock replenishment and visual displays
- Working towards sales targets as part of a team
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
Important to note: This is a seasonal position for 120 hours. Only candidates who are available to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays should apply.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience will be an advantage but not required
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude
- Ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be able to stand for long periods and assist with lifting stock when needed
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Operate the till and handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Assist with receiving and unpacking stock
- Keep the sales floor tidy and merchandise neatly displayed
- Help customers with queries and product information
- Support the team in achieving daily sales targets
