The Foschini Group is looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to join the Exact store in Wonderpark. This is a full time seasonal role perfect for young job seekers who enjoy fashion retail and want to gain hands on experience with a major South African retail group. You will help customers, keep the store looking great, and be part of a busy team during the festive season.
About the role
As a Seasonal Sales Associate at Exact in Wonderpark, you will be the face of the store, helping customers find what they need and making sure they leave happy. You will work on the shop floor, assist with stock, and keep the store looking neat and inviting during one of the busiest times of the year.
Day to day, you can expect to:
- Greet customers and help them with product choices
- Operate the till and handle payments
- Keep shelves and racks neat and well stocked
- Assist with receiving and packing stock
- Work as part of a team to meet daily store targets
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous retail or sales experience will be an advantage
- Friendly and helpful attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Must be reliable and well presented
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with purchases and queries
- Operate the point of sale system and handle cash and card payments
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
- Replenish stock on the shop floor
- Support the store team during peak trading periods
