About the role

What you will be doing:

Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Previous retail or customer service experience would be an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly and helpful attitude with a passion for customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Must be reliable, punctual and able to stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting and advising shoppers
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers and promoting products
- Process cash and card transactions accurately on the point of sale system
- Maintain store presentation by arranging displays and keeping the shop floor tidy
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock to the supervisor
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints in a professional manner
- Work closely with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets
