Success Guide
This role is a great stepping stone into banking sales if you already have a finance or banking certificate and enjoy working with people. Absa is serious about FAIS compliance, so during your interview be ready to explain how you would put a customer's needs first while still meeting sales targets. Emphasise any experience you have with customer service, handling queries, or working in a branch environment. Bring along your CV and your FETC certificate. If you have examples of times you turned a query into a sale or helped a customer adopt digital banking, share those stories. The branch environment is busy, so show that you are organised and can keep accurate records. Good luck, this is a solid opportunity to grow with a major South African bank.
