About the role
As a Sales Associate at Totalsports in Mossel Bay Mall, you will be the face of the brand on the shop floor. Your job is to give customers an amazing experience by understanding what they need and helping them find the right products.
You will keep track of your sales performance against targets, sell across the product range, and stay clued up on the latest decor and fashion trends. You will also help with keeping the store stocked and ready for customers at all times.
Please note: The role is with The Foschini Group, and preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Act.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- A genuine passion for working with people
- Target driven with a focus on the customer experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High level of attention to detail
- Competencies in customer loyalty, customer service delivery, navigating customer challenges, and negotiation and selling
- Behavioural strengths in adhering to standards, continual improvement, decision making, driving and persevering, meeting customer expectations, planning and organising, relating and networking

- Act as an ambassador for the brand and deliver an amazing customer experience
