About the role
As a Sales Associate at The Fix in Tygervalley, you will be the friendly face customers see when they walk in. Your main focus will be helping shoppers find what they need, making sure they leave happy, and keeping the store running smoothly.
What you will be doing:
- Greeting customers and helping them with product choices
- Processing sales at the till and handling payments
- Keeping the store neat, tidy and well merchandised
- Assisting with stock takes and replenishing shelves
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
This is a full time role of 40 hours per week, so you will need to be available to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required in retail.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Previous retail or sales experience will be an advantage
- Friendly and helpful attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and queries
- Operate the till and handle cash and card payments accurately
- Maintain store presentation and ensure stock is neatly displayed
- Help with stock replenishment and participate in stock takes
- Support team members to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent service
- Adhere to store policies and procedures at all times
