Sportscene is looking for a confident Sales Associate to join their team at Tubatse Crossing. About the role
As a Sales Associate at Sportscene, you will be the face of the brand, creating a welcoming and exciting shopping experience for every customer. You will work on the shop floor, helping shoppers find what they need while staying on top of the latest streetwear and fashion trends.
- Represent the Sportscene brand and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Identify customer needs and offer the best possible solutions to exceed their expectations.
- Track your sales performance against set targets and actively look for new sales opportunities.
- Sell a wide range of products and keep up to date with current décor and fashion trends.
- Assist with replenishing stock so the store is always ready for customers.
Important note: Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
- Passionate about working with people.
- Target driven with a strong focus on customer experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to mult task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Skills in building customer loyalty and navigating customer challenges.
- Negotiation and selling behaviours.
- Behaviours such as adhering to standards, continual improvement, decision making, driving and persevering, meeting customer expectations, planning and organising, and relating and networking.

- Be an ambassador for the Sportscene brand and offer an amazing customer experience.

- Sell a diverse product range and stay current with the latest décor and fashion trends.
- Search out opportunities for making new sales.
- Assist with replenishing stock to ensure the store is always ready for customers.
