About the role
Sportscene, part of The Foschini Group, is hiring a Sales Associate for their Jane Furse store. You will be part of a brand that shapes streetwear culture in South Africa, working with top global and local labels.
In this role you will be the face of the brand, creating a positive experience for every customer who walks in. You will help shoppers find what they are looking for, keep the store looking its best, and work towards sales targets as part of a energetic team.
Day to day you will stay on top of the latest fashion and decor trends so you can offer customers the best possible solutions. You will also help with keeping shelves stocked and the store ready for trading.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) is required
- A passion for working with people is a must
- Target driven with a focus on customer experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High level of attention to detail
- Customer service delivery and loyalty building skills
- Negotiation and selling behaviours
Responsibilities
- Be an ambassador for the Sportscene brand and deliver an amazing customer experience
- Exceed customer expectations by identifying and providing the best possible solutions
- Actively track sales performance against targets
- Sell a diverse product range and stay up to date with the latest decor and fashion trends
- Search out opportunities to make new sales
- Assist with replenishing stock so the store is always ready for customers
