Success Guide

If you are looking for a solid start in retail, this Dis-Chem role in Nelspruit is worth applying for. The company is a major South African health and wellness retailer, so you will gain valuable experience in a busy store environment.

When you apply, make sure your CV is up to date and highlights any retail or customer service experience you have, even if it was part time or volunteer work. Mention your matric certificate and any computer skills, especially Excel and Outlook. If you have used SAP before, definitely include that.

In an interview, they will likely ask about how you handle difficult customers and work under pressure during busy times. Be ready to give examples of times you solved a problem or worked in a team. Also remember that they require a clear criminal and credit record, so be prepared for those checks.

Good luck! This is a great chance to get your foot in the door with a well known brand.
