About the role
Advisorly Recruitment is a South African financial services recruitment specialist that matches licensed advisers with advisory firms that suit their experience, clients and goals. They are currently building a confidential talent pool of experienced financial advisers for practices nationwide, and the work can be done remotely.
As a financial adviser, you will provide holistic advice to clients on risk, investment, retirement and estate planning. You will manage and grow your existing client base through regular reviews and relationship building, prepare compliant records of advice and keep accurate client files. You will work within the compliance framework of your new firm and the FAIS Act, and contribute to the practice through collaboration and business development.
This opportunity is ideal for established advisers who are performing well but feel they could be with a firm that offers more in terms of support, platform, culture, growth or flexibility. Advisorly will introduce you confidentially to firms that match your profile, with no obligation to move.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a financial adviser
- Valid FAIS registration with RE5 and relevant product categories
- Fit and proper status, including up to date CPD
- Clean criminal record and good credit record (checks will be conducted)
- A track record of client service and, where applicable, a book of business
- Strong communication and advice skills
- Comfortable working remotely from anywhere in South Africa
