About the role

Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification with current SANC registration
- Post basic qualification in psychiatric or mental health nursing would be an advantage
- Proven experience in a nursing management or leadership role
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Ability to travel between facilities in the region
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing services across Akeso acute mental health facilities in the region
- Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols and best practices
- Monitor and improve clinical outcomes and patient experience
- Manage nursing budgets, staffing and recruitment needs
- Conduct regular facility visits and audits to ensure compliance
- Provide mentorship and professional development for nursing staff
- Liaise with head office and other departments on nursing matters
