You will source and screen IT and project services talent for Australian government and enterprise projects. This full-time role offers R40 000 per month plus performance commission and runs Monday to Friday, 02:00 to 10:00 SAST. About the role
As a Recruitment Consultant for IT and Project Services, you will own the end-to-end talent pipeline for digital transformation, project services, and general IT roles across Australia. Working remotely from South Africa, you will support an international company and help deliver agile talent solutions for Australia's premier government and enterprise projects.
Your day to day will involve high-speed sourcing from internal databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, and online job portals to build active pipelines for Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Project Managers, and other IT roles. You will conduct rapid 15-minute screening calls to assess technical fit, communication skills, salary expectations, and availability against strict client deadlines.
You will also manage compliance and vetting, including right-to-work checks, background checks, reference checks, and security clearances in line with Australian government frameworks. Preparing shortlisted candidates for client interviews and supporting onshore Account Managers with fully vetted shortlists will be key parts of your role.

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of recruitment agency or in-house resourcing experience
- At least 6 to 12 months of exposure to IT, project services, or digital transformation roles
- Proficiency with Bullhorn CRM/ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searching, MS 365, and AI-driven sourcing tools
- Strong understanding of project delivery, business analysis, data, and general IT concepts
- Proven ability to manage 5 to 10 active roles weekly and submit 3 fully prepped candidates per vacancy within 24 to 48 hour SLAs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proactive, resilient working style
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Reliable personal laptop or desktop, high-speed stable internet, and a dedicated quiet home office
- Prior experience in Australian recruitment or familiarity with the Australian market is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Source talent from internal Bullhorn databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, and online job portals to build pipelines for Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Project Managers, and general IT roles
- Conduct 15-minute screening calls to evaluate technical fit, communication skills, compensation expectations, and availability against strict client deadlines
- Execute database headhunting and AI-driven sourcing before posting job adverts to maximize delivery speed and reduce acquisition costs
- Verify right-to-work status, background checks, reference checks, and security clearances in alignment with Australian government and panel compliance frameworks
- Prepare and brief shortlisted candidates on client project requirements, role specifications, and interview formats to drive placement conversion
- Support non-technical project roles and manage technical IT overflow during peak vacancy periods
- Partner with onshore Australian Account Managers by presenting fully vetted shortlists and gradually step into direct client interaction as trust builds
