Overview
Tevo Warehouse in Centurion is looking for a Receiving Supervisor to lead container offloading and stock receipt. You will run the receiving area, check deliveries, manage paperwork, and keep your team safe. This is a permanent, full-time role for someone with warehouse receiving and supervisory experience. About the role
As a Receiving Supervisor at Tevo Warehouse in Centurion, you will be the person who makes sure every container that arrives is handled properly from start to finish. Your day starts with giving security the delivery list, checking driver details, and making sure the cage is ready before containers are opened. You will supervise offloading, confirm stock counts against documents, and report any shortages, extra stock, or damage right away.
You will also oversee driver returns, making sure reasons are recorded correctly and stock is handed over to the right supervisor. Keeping the receiving area clean, making sure your team wears PPE, and following DC procedures are key parts of the role. This is shift work, so you need to be available for rotational shifts and overtime when required.
Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience in warehouse receiving or container offloading and supervising a warehouse team is required. A valid SA driver licence with own transport is advantageous.Requirements

Responsibilities
- Give security the daily delivery list and ensure arriving containers and driver details are checked and recorded
- Check container documents and condition and make sure the cage is ready and photos are taken before and during opening
- Open containers, confirm what has arrived and inform the relevant teams
- Supervise offloading and make sure stock is handled carefully, counted correctly and packed safely on pallets
- Check products, stock codes and quantities against delivery documents and report shortages, extra stock and damage
- Make sure receiving documents are checked, signed and stamped before stock is handed over
- Make sure the team follows DC procedures, wears correct PPE and reports hazards
- Keep the receiving area clean with pallets stacked neatly and broken pallets separated
- Oversee driver returns and make sure each return has a clear reason, is checked against the internal copy and recorded correctly
- Make sure rejected deliveries, damaged stock, RDs and no-stock invoices are recorded and each order is marked for redelivery, credit or pending action
- Check that the driver and Receiving Team Leader sign the return records and internal copies to confirm handover
- Make sure returned stock is handed to the Warehouse Supervisor or Dispatch Supervisor depending on the reason for return
