About the role

Requirements
- Grade 12 with Core Mathematics and Science
- Degree in Chemistry
- 3 years experience in an industrial chemical operation
- 3 years experience supervising a team
- 3 years exposure to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite
Responsibilities
- Assume accountability for the Quality Control function on site
- Monitor in process and final product parameters and recommend process changes to relevant personnel
- Analyse liquor and make recommendations for production of adhesives, specials and other products
- Monitor raw material and water quality against agreed specifications
- Manage hazardous chemicals on site
- Ensure effective performance of laboratory personnel
