Success Guide
This role is for a qualified HVAC Technician who has already worked hands-on with these systems, so your practical experience is the main thing the employer will be looking at. When you apply, make sure your CV clearly shows the specific equipment you have worked on, such as VRV/VRF units, chillers, DX systems and pumps. It also helps to mention the types of buildings or sites you have worked on, like commercial or residential projects.
For an interview, be ready to talk through real fault-finding examples. They will likely ask how you diagnosed a tricky electrical or water-flow problem and what you did to fix it. Bring up your ability to work independently and how you handle client interactions, since this job involves dealing with people on site. And don’t forget to confirm that your driver’s licence is valid, as it is listed as a requirement.
