Success Guide

This is a solid opportunity if you are a qualified artisan looking for steady work in the FMCG world. Make sure your CV clearly shows your Trade Test and highlights the FMCG or manufacturing maintenance work you have done. When you list your experience, be specific about the equipment you have fixed, like motors, conveyors or PLC controlled systems. Employers in this field also want to see that you take health and safety seriously, so mention any relevant training or procedures you follow. A short cover note that says you are available to start immediately will help your application. In an interview, expect questions about fault finding and how you handle a breakdown on a production line under pressure. Bring your Trade Test certificate and matric certificate ready.
