Success Guide

When applying for this diesel mechanic role, make sure your CV clearly shows your trade test certificate and the specific machines you have worked on, like excavators and loaders. The employer wants at least 5 years of hands on experience, so list your relevant jobs with dates and the types of equipment you maintained. If you have any certifications or training in hydraulics or auto electrical systems, mention them. At the interview, be ready to talk through a breakdown you diagnosed and fixed, and show that you understand safety on a construction site. Since this is a fixed term project, ask about the project duration and what happens after. Good luck, your practical experience is what will set you apart.
