Success Guide

This is a serious site based safety role, so your application needs to show real depth. Recruiters for a position like this will look closely at your years of experience in mining and construction, not just your qualifications.

Make sure your CV clearly lists your SAMTRAC certificate, your NQF level programme and any SACPCMP registration. If you have worked at Valterra Platinum, Sibanye Stillwater or on concentrator or smelter projects, put that near the top. Those details are listed as advantageous and will help you stand out.

Also mention any experience where you were appointed under 2.17.1 of the MHSA, as this is a key requirement. Since the role starts soon, keep your documents ready and be prepared to demonstrate your knowledge of the OHS Act and Construction Regulations in an interview. Good luck, you have got this.
