Overview

A growing property development and construction group is looking for a commercially minded Project Manager with solid residential development experience to lead multi unit projects from land acquisition through to completion. Day to day you will coordinate architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, environmental consultants and town planners, while keeping a close eye on budgets, programmes and risk registers. You will also handle tender processes, contract administration, payment certificates and commercial reporting, and support land acquisition with due diligence and financial feasibility modelling.

Note: This is an onsite role based in Stellenbosch. The listing does not include specific application instructions beyond the source platform, so be sure to follow the application process on the job board where you found it.

Success Guide

If you are applying for this Project Manager role, put your residential development track record front and centre. The hiring team will want to see that you have managed multi unit projects from land acquisition through to completion, so mention specific developments, your role and the values involved.

Because the role blends project management with quantity surveying and feasibility work, highlight any cost control, tender management or financial modelling experience you have. If you have worked with South African planning and construction regulations, make that clear too.

Prepare for an interview that may test your commercial judgement and your ability to coordinate consultants and contractors under pressure. Be ready to talk through a project you delivered, the challenges you faced and how you handled budget and programme risks.
