Requirements
- Professional Quantity Surveying qualification
- Valid registration as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with proof of professional registration
- 8 to 14 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience gained after qualification
- Consulting environment experience serving mining, engineering and infrastructure sectors
- Strong background in mining and infrastructure projects, including capital projects and industrial engineering exposure
- Solid capability in cost planning, capital estimating, tender preparation and evaluation, cost control, progress valuations, payment certificates, commercial management, variations and final accounts
Responsibilities
- Manage cost planning and capital estimating for mining, engineering and infrastructure projects
- Prepare and evaluate tenders, including tender strategy and documentation
- Control costs and manage commercial aspects throughout project lifecycles
- Conduct progress valuations and issue payment certificates
- Manage variations and final accounts
- Provide accurate reporting on cost management across technically demanding projects
- Work closely with project teams to ensure practical delivery from feasibility to completion
