About the role
As a Relationship Banker in Standard Bank's Private Banking division, you will be the key point of contact for a portfolio of private banking clients. Your main focus will be on building deep, lasting relationships through proactive and value adding engagement.
You will manage and grow your client portfolio by retaining existing clients, identifying new opportunities and cross selling suitable financial solutions. This involves understanding each client's unique needs and recommending the right banking, lending, wealth and digital products.
You will also support the credit process by helping with quality credit applications and annual reviews, while making sure all portfolio administration, risk and compliance requirements are handled according to bank standards.

Requirements
- Proven experience in relationship management or private banking, with a strong understanding of banking, lending and wealth products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with high value clients

- Knowledge of credit application processes and portfolio administration
- Understanding of risk and compliance requirements within a banking environment
