About the role

What you will be doing:

- Handling walk in guests, waiting lists, and table availability during peak times.
- Liaising with waitstaff, bartenders, and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Providing information about menus, signature cocktails, promotions, and events.
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area and upholding professional standards.
- Recognising returning guests and contributing to personalised service.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or Guest Relations professional, preferably in an upmarket restaurant, cocktail bar, hotel, or premium hospitality venue.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, confident, friendly, and outgoing personality.
- Professional presentation and strong personal grooming standards.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple reservations and guest requests simultaneously.

- Identify opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
- Provide information about restaurant offerings, signature cocktails, special promotions, and events.
- Recognise returning guests and contribute to personalised service.
- Maintain a polished, well groomed appearance in line with the venue's dress code.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised, and presentable.
- Assist with opening and closing duties relating to the host station.
