About the role
Join a dynamic team at a top financial services company as a Platform Engineer on a fixed term contract based in the Northern Suburbs. You will play a key role in deploying, configuring and maintaining the platform across development, test and production environments.
What you will be doing:
- Deploy, configure and maintain the platform across all environments
- Take ownership of the AWS platform, including EKS, networking, IAM and databases
- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Helm and Kubernetes
- Set up and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery processes
- Manage platform upgrades and support engineering teams with deployment patterns and production incidents
Requirements
- Relevant IT qualification and certifications
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
- Hands on experience with EKS, Terraform, Helm and CI/CD
- Knowledge of cloud security and networking
- Experience operating platform services such as PostgreSQL, Redis or Kafka
- Able to take full ownership of work while remaining hands on
