Prism Placements is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead a high volume manufacturing facility in Germiston. This senior role is perfect for a hands on leader with over 10 years in manufacturing management who can optimise production, control costs and build strong teams. You will oversee production, maintenance, quality, safety and strategic site projects while working closely with executive management.
About the role
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Plant Manager to take charge of a busy manufacturing site in Germiston, Johannesburg. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Your day to day will involve overseeing production and maintenance teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing strategic site projects. You will also play a key role in executive level meetings, reporting on plant performance and working with management across different levels of the business.

Requirements
- BTech or Degree in Engineering is a must
- Minimum 10 years senior manufacturing leadership experience leading a sizable team
- Experience in EXCO proceedings with strong reporting skills
- Ability to deal with management at various levels of seniority
- Strong maintenance management expertise
- Continuous improvement expertise essential
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015
- Health and safety compliance knowledge essential
- Must be a South African citizen
