Success Guide
If you are applying for this P&ID Designer role, put your COMOS experience front and centre. This is the one skill the client has flagged as essential, so make sure your CV clearly shows which projects you used COMOS on and what you delivered. Also highlight any mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial exposure you have, because that is the environment you will be working in.
With 3 to 7 years of EPCM experience needed, this is a mid level position. Be ready to talk about how you handle design changes from HAZOPs and client feedback, and how you keep your P&IDs consistent with other engineering deliverables. Since the role involves site work in Pretoria, mention that you are willing to travel or work on site. A short cover note explaining why this mining project interests you can go a long way.
